DC - database Configuration
Mandate
The DC section provides Configuration Management for the LHC
machine using the Reference database, and extend these
Configuration Management methods to PS and SPS.
The Reference database is designed to store all data
pertaining to the different CERN colliders, their components,
their layout, and links to their design and manufacturing. The
management of this data, the change control, and the release is
handled in this section. Tools are provided to navigate along
the virtual design of the machine like the database Navigator.
